NYU IMA

Adjunct Professor

Spring 2023 - 2024

As an instructor at NYU IMA, I guide students through the design of interactive systems that translate physical inputs into meaningful digital controls and visualizations. The course focuses on building interfaces that connect sensors, microcontrollers, and software to create responsive control systems and real-time data displays.

Students develop projects that transform physical signals into structured information, designing control mechanisms, dashboards, and visual feedback systems that make complex data legible and actionable. Through hands-on experimentation with hardware and software, the course emphasizes interface design, system thinking, and the relationship between sensing, computation, and human interaction.
